TV Nostalgia: BritSci-Fi 2013
This is the third year for BritSciFi and the first BritSci-Fi event we have been too. The National Space Center said that this will be the biggest and best event ever hosted at the National Space Centre so we were looking forward to this counting down the days for weeks.
The event was dedicated to Gerry Anderson who sadly passed away. This gave us all the chance to see his amazing legacy that we spent many years growing up watching on TV and were thrilled to have the chance to see alot of work that he created and inspired, We also got to meet and talk to Jamie Anderson, and hear stories about his father from his friends that worked with him.
BritSci-fi had many TV stars from over the years there giving fans a chance to not only just meet them and have quick a signed photo, but to have the opportunity to ask them questions directly and hear stories about behind the scenes and much more. As a optional extra there was also the chance to have a professional photo shoot with the stars on the space centre mars set or with Doctor Who stars in front of the Tardis! These were all planned out very well and stars and fans alike Looked very happy at the end of the day.
All the staff and people involved whether out front or behind the scenes in creating the BritSci-fi event have done them selfs proud and i am sure everyone who attended have memories that they will not forget from an amazing weekend of Sci-fi!
Roll on next years event……
